Platform as a Service (PaaS) is one of three service models in cloud computing. A development environment from the cloud that helps users develop or test their own software applications. Examples are MS Azure or Google Cloud. The other two service models are IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service) and SaaS (Software as a Service).
